Unprecedented Tension Between NATO and Russia: Could World War Begin in Poland? NATO Warns with Article 4
Unprecedented NATO Russia Tensions: Is World War Starting from Poland?
The world is witnessing a dangerous escalation after direct accusations from Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk who claimed that Russia tried to attack Poland with drones. These accusations came following 19 airspace violations which pushed Warsaw to request the activation of Article 4 of the NATO Treaty.
In response Moscow issued its first statement saying that Poland has not provided any proof that the downed drones were Russian. The Kremlin described the accusations as unfounded claims.

Article 4 of the NATO Treaty allows any member state to request urgent consultations if it believes that its territorial integrity or political independence is under threat. This could open the door for joint measures by the alliance. Since NATO was founded in 1949 this article has been activated only seven times.
On its official website NATO explained that emergency meetings provide space to exchange information and opinions before making collective decisions. The alliance stressed that solidarity among members remains the key principle to deter any threat.
On the military front the Russian Ministry of Defense published a map showing that the drones allegedly belonging to Russia have a maximum range of 700 kilometers in an attempt to deny the possibility of reaching deep into Polish territory.
These recent developments have intensified fears of a direct confrontation between NATO and Russia. This scenario raises serious global concerns about the potential outbreak of a largescale regional conflict that could endanger international security.
